Stop-Motion Animation
“The Attack of the Blob” is a stop-motion animation result of a highly digital design production and distortion of 3d printed models. In contrast to the high definition of animated forms, the material allure of scale models presents a low-definition appeal, with a focus on delineation, materiality and figure. There is an interest in the transition between digital images and analogue photography. The film is intentionally manipulated to achieve a higher level of artificiality.
